Nile crocodile named Boy died on 10 November at Tashkent zoo, its administration said. The death was caused by blockage of pyloric part of stomach with a foreign object, which was a toy.
Earlier, the zoo administration has repeatedly reported on finding various objects inside the caves, which have led to deaths of animals.
For instance, on 7 November, a 20 cm metal knitting needle was found in the feeder of a young giraffe recently brought from Kazakhstan.
“For safety purposes and to protect animals, do not throw different objects in cages,” zoo asked the visitors.
