President of Mongolia Ukhnaa Khurelsukh with his wife Luvsandorj Bolortsetseg arrived in Uzbekistan on state visit on 23 June. Prime minister Abdulla Aripov welcomed them at Tashkent airport, the office of the head of the government said.
The visit will last until 26 June. At talks between president Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the head of Mongolia, issues of expansion of ties in different areas will be discussed.
Signing of a number of bilateral documents is expected. The presidents will also meet representatives of the business circles of Uzbekistan and Mongolia.
Ukhnaa Khurelsukh is also scheduled to visit Khiva, a historic town in Khorezm region.
