The departure of Uzbekistan Airways flight HY304 from Tel Aviv to Tashkent via Samarkand was delayed on 1 October due to the escalating situation in the Middle East and the closure of the part of the airspace, the company’s press service said.

According to Flightradar24 data, the carrier’s Boeing 767 plane took off at 22:14 instead of the scheduled 20:15. It arrived in Samarkand on 2 October at 4:40 instead of 2:45, and in Tashkent at 6:16 instead of 4:50.

During a missile attack from Iran on Tuesday evening, Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv was temporarily closed but later resumed operations. Uzbekistan Airways' plane arrived to Tel Aviv just before the attack warning.
