The Termez Youth Hub was launched on 22 October at Termez State University. The hub has been established by the United Nations Development Program as part of a project funded by the government of Japan, UNDP Uzbekistan said.
University rector Abduqodir Toshqulov, ambassador of Japan to Uzbekistan Takashi Hatori and UNDP resident representative in Uzbekistan Akiko Fujii attended the event.
The hub is designed to offer a range of services, including vocational trainings in IT, entrepreneurship and foreign languages. It aims to bridge the gap between education and employment, ensuring that young people have the tools they need to thrive.
Termez Youth Hub is one of the key initiatives of UNDP in Uzbekistan to create empowering environment for the young people of Surkhandarya region offering more opportunities aligned with the government program aimed at supporting young people.
