The opening ceremony of the Human Rights House, established within the Information and Resource Center of the National Center for Human Rights, will take place on 3 December, the center’s press service told Gazeta.uz.
The new educational hub was created on the initiative of the president of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the statement said.
The Human Rights House will serve as a specialized platform with a library of international and national human rights documents, scientific research, commentaries and analytical reports.
The ceremony will be devoted to two important dates: Uzbekistan’s Constitution Day on 8 December and the International Human Rights Day on 10 December.
