Harmful industries to be banned, some enterprises to be relocated from Tashkent and other major cities
From May, new projects with negative environmental impact, including asbestos and cement production, as well as poultry farms, will be banned in Tashkent, Nukus and regional centers of Uzbekistan. Additionally, 168 industrial enterprises are set to be relocated outside urban areas.
