Uzbekistan to abolish monopoly on external internet channel by 2025
Starting from 2025, private internet service providers in Uzbekistan will be allowed to directly connect to international internet channels as an experiment. This should abolish the monopoly held by Uzbektelecom, which has been planned for many years.
