Uzbekistan and Mongolia have signed intergovernmental agreements on air and international road transport, trade, economic, and investment cooperation until 2027. Uzbekistan intends to open its embassy in Ulaanbaatar in the near future, Mongolian media says.
The embassy of Mongolia opened in Tashkent during the state visit of the president of this country. Prime minister of Uzbekistan and foreign ministers of the two countries participated in the ceremony.
Presidents of Uzbekistan and Mongolia agreed to draft agreements on preferential trade and mutual market access simplification. They also plan to adopt agreements on investment protection and taxation principles. Mongolia is ready to supply Uzbekistan with meat and establish livestock clusters here.
