President of Uzbekistan to attend SCO summit in Astana
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a working visit to Astana, Kazakhstan on 3−4 July to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit and a “SCO Plus” format meeting. UN secretary-general will also be present at the summit.

UN secretary general to visit Uzbekistan and other countries of Central Asia
UN secretary general António Guterres will start his visit to Uzbekistan Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan on Saturday. He will attend the SCO summit in Astana on 4 July. The head of the UN visited the region in 2017.
