Tashkent plans to build 20 more pedestrian overpasses, public has concerns
Twenty new pedestrian overpasses are expected to be built in Tashkent during four years for $8.52 million. Their locations have not yet been revealed, leading the experts and public to worry about the real necessity of the structures proven to be inconvenient.

Buying a car should be cheap, but maintaining is expensive, argues deputy Alisher Kadirov
It is necessary to provide the population with convenient and cheap public transportation to eliminate traffic jams, prevent air pollution and protect the environment, MP Alisher Kadirov stated. He believes the purchase of a private car should be affordable, while its maintenance should be costly.
