VAT and corporate tax rates in Uzbekistan to remain unchanged until 2028
President of Uzbekistan issued a decree ensuring that VAT and corporate tax rates remain unchanged until 2028. Additionally, Center for Assisting Entrepreneurs in Accessing International Financial Markets will be established under the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Inflation increases in Uzbekistan following removal of VAT exemption on medicines and public services
Inflation in Uzbekistan increased to 0.93% in April, with annual inflation exceeding 8%. This increase was influenced by the removal of the zero VAT rate on medicines and utilities, including water supply, heating, and sewage. Prices also rose for sugar, milk, flour, meat, and other goods.
